Those of us who have built companies to 100+ people do NOT miss the days when the headcount was ~10. That's because in the past, small teams = big constraints for founders. It means less resources, shipping less, and more time to get little things done. AI is about to radically change all that, though. A big trend we're seeing is high-performance, super-small teams that can do so much more thanks to the tools and technologies powered by AI. I think "small teams" are abt to be the new flex for founders. Thanks to AI, small teams will be more optimized, more productive, and culturally stronger than the old school big ones could ever manage.
